Radiators

This is my photographic collection of radiators. I’ve been collecting them for ten years. That puts my pace at 1.2 pictures per year. That’s not an impressive output but a project like this isn’t about numbers. I have a few collections like this. Collections of things that I find beautiful and present themselves in different ways on a regular basis. I’ll be going about my business and the light will hit something just so, or I’ll see the thing I’ve been photographing again and again in a brand new way. It might seem odd to other people to collect things like this but I can honestly say that I can’t help myself. It’s a compulsion more than a decision. Even though I tend to collect these images for myself, I thought you might enjoy them, too. I will continue to add to the collection but it might be another 10 years before you see any more radiators from me.
