I really love January. I love being at home, cozy on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate and the dog sleeping by the fire. I get to plan and dream without feeling guilty about not spending more time outside. I wish there were more days like these. I guess that’s why I get a little bit sad when the days start to get longer. It means these slow days are coming to an end.

Reese loves the snow! She would be out all day if it wasn’t for the salt and bitter cold.

This was shot in colour even though it looks black and white. Snow is so beautiful.

I LOVE these pens. The one on the left is set up with a fine point in permanent black ink. The other one has two brush tips: green and grey. I added the gold washi tape so I could tell them apart.

I like to see what happens to tea bags when they dry out after use. Each one is different and so interesting.

I made my annual blood donation but I think it’s time to make it a semiannual event.

These little houses are so cute. They’re even cuter as a village.
