My Little Green House

My little pink house with the green door is now, officially, my little green house with the pink door. After five long summers of scraping, sanding, repairing, caulking, priming and painting every single board and surface, I am finally finished. I am going to take next summer off but I’m guessing that the one after that I’ll likely have to start in with the maintenance. I’m not going to think about it. For the next 18 months, I’m just going to soak up the feeling of being done that gigantic beast of a job. Here is a before and after for anyone who likes that kind of a thing. And for all of the keen eyes out there, I’m still in need of some stairs. I hate having a door to nowhere.
