My Favourite Sewing Book

This unassuming little volume is my favourite sewing book. It’s my favourite sewing book by a mile. It leaves all the others in the dust. So it’s ironic that my favourite sewing book isn’t really a sewing book at all. The book is from 1924 and it contains a collection of drawings. I guess I just like to think of them as drawings for possible sewing projects. Some of them seem like they’re historical costumes or costumes for plays but the ones that really intrigue me are the ones that embody the twenties. This little book is gold. The clothes, the hair, the shoes, the accessories, the poses! Absolute gold! Here are all of my favourites.
