June 2025

June 30, 2025

June felt busy. For me, the turn in the weather always kick starts a lot of new projects. I started stripping the last bit of paint on the outside of my house, the vegetable garden was planted, my little shed needed a new roof, a pile of wood was dropped off and is waiting to be stacked, there are new sewing projects in the sewing studio and a few other personal projects are happening in the background. Despite all of that forward momentum, I don’t have much to show you… yet. Here are a few snapshots from the in between moments over the past month.

This little slice of heaven belongs to a friend. It’s one of my favourite places on earth and I’m extremely lucky to visit it once in a while.

I’m never more grateful to have a camera on my phone than when the sky opens up and my big camera is still at home.

This spring I bought a beautiful white iris but when it bloomed it was purple. I like this purple one so much better than I would have liked a white one.

Ranunculus is always a favourite but orange and pink together is a real showstopper.

Good thing I looked in the mirror before I went out into the world. I had no idea I had a little something on my face.

I love bringing Reese to work with me. I think she loves it too…

Judging by how tired she is when we get home.
