We went mackerel fishing and about two hours later we were eating them for dinner. It really doesn’t get much fresher than that.

We went out on the boat to watch seals and have a picnic. Addison did great for her first time on a boat.

Making houses look beautiful is a dirty business.

My first and only swim of the summer on the second last day of August. I couldn’t go without at least one swim this year!

Svenja makes the most beautiful flower bouquets. Admiring them is easy. Picking a favourite is the hard part.

Addison will soon be three. I thought it was about time she learned to sew.

Reese always gets crazy eyes when she plays and it cracks me up.
