Big Skies

The one thing about visiting a flat place is that there is nothing to obstruct the view. Not only can you see for miles and miles in every direction but when that flat place sits next to a large body of water, the skies are loaded with every kind of cloud formation. If you don’t really like the ones currently on view, you just need to wait about ten minutes and the entire scene will be transformed. Big skies were one of my favourite things about Belgium and The Netherlands.
